Question 1

What is Sparq?

Accepted Answer

Sparq is a creator marketplace for brands that sell on TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, or their own website. It connects brands with creators and shoppers for reimbursed purchases, UGC videos, paid partnerships, and live shopping sessions, so a brand can build early sales momentum and social proof wherever its product is sold.

Question 2

Which platforms does Sparq work with?

Accepted Answer

Cold Start campaigns run on TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, and brand websites. You choose the platform when you add a product, and shoppers buy on that exact listing, so every sale counts where you actually sell. UGC Library videos arrive as raw files you can use on Amazon and Walmart product pages, your website, paid social ads, and email. Paid Partnerships creators post on TikTok, and Live Shopping sessions run on TikTok LIVE.

Question 3

How is Sparq different from other influencer platforms?

Accepted Answer

Most influencer platforms are built around one social network. Sparq is built around where your product is sold. Cold Start runs on TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, or your own website, UGC Library delivers videos you can use on any channel, and Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping are built for TikTok creators. Each of the four modules fits a different stage of product growth, our verification system checks that every purchase is real, and one wallet pays for all of it.

Question 4

Do I need a TikTok Shop to use Sparq?

Accepted Answer

No. You only need a TikTok Shop for Live Shopping and for Cold Start campaigns you choose to run on TikTok Shop. Cold Start works the same way on Amazon, Walmart, and your own website, and UGC Library and Paid Partnerships need no shop at all, so any brand that wants creator video can use them.

Question 5

What types of content can I create with Sparq?

Accepted Answer

Sparq supports four campaign types: Cold Start (reimbursed real purchases that build your sales history and social proof), UGC Library videos (raw video files licensed to you for ads, product pages, and social), Paid Partnerships content (custom videos commissioned from creators who post on their channels), and Live Shopping sessions (live shopping streams where creators showcase your products in real time). On Cold Start, some shoppers go on to leave an honest review of their own accord, but a review is never required and never paid for.

Question 6

How long does it take to get started?

Accepted Answer

Brands can sign up, complete onboarding, and launch their first campaign in under 10 minutes. Creators can create a profile and start browsing campaigns the same day. There is no approval wait time to access the platform.

Question 7

Is there a mobile app?

Accepted Answer

There is no separate app to download. Sparq is a fully responsive web app, and the dashboard at getsparq.io works completely in a phone browser with the same login and every feature: opting in, uploading receipts and delivery photos, submitting content, messaging, and tracking earnings.

Question 8

Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you are on a legacy Pro subscription you can cancel at any time from your brand settings, and it is billed monthly until you do. Cancelling changes nothing about what you can do or what you pay, because Pro no longer carries a discount or any exclusive feature. Any wallet balance remains available either way.

Question 9

How do I launch my first campaign?

Accepted Answer

After signing up and completing onboarding, navigate to the module you want to use (Cold Start, UGC, Paid Partnerships, or Live Shopping) from your brand dashboard. Each module has a guided campaign builder that walks you through your product, budget, timeline and content requirements. Fund your wallet and publish. On Cold Start, slots then fill first come, first served as people opt in. On UGC Library, Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping, creators apply and you accept the ones you want; you can also browse and invite creators on Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping. Paid Partnerships lets you auto-accept applicants or hold them for your review; Live Shopping applicants are always held for your review.

Question 10

What if a creator's content doesn't meet my standards?

Accepted Answer

For Cold Start, our verification system checks purchase legitimacy automatically. For UGC and Paid Partnerships, you review each submission and can approve it or request revisions with specific feedback. Note that submissions auto-approve and pay out if you do not act within your campaign's review window, which defaults to 7 days and which you set in the builder, so review promptly if you want the final say. If a creator repeatedly fails to meet standards, you can remove them from your campaign.

Question 11

Can I choose which creators work on my campaigns?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the module. For Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping, yes: you browse creator profiles, view their portfolios and metrics, and invite specific creators. Paid Partnerships lets you auto-accept applicants or hold them for your review; Live Shopping applicants are always held for your review. On UGC Library, creators apply and you accept each one before they start, and you choose which product each accepted creator features. Cold Start is first come, first served by design, so slots fill in the order people opt in: it is about getting real buyers through your checkout quickly, which is why it is not gated on selection.

Question 12

How do I fund my wallet?

Accepted Answer

Go to your Wallet page in the dashboard and click 'Add Funds.' You can deposit anything from $1 to $100,000 in a single card payment through Stripe. Funds are available immediately for campaigns. Your wallet balance carries over, and unused funds never expire. If you run multiple brands under one account (an agency), they all draw from this one shared wallet.

Question 13

I'm an agency managing multiple client brands. How does Sparq work for me?

Accepted Answer

Sign up for a Sparq Agency account (or flip the switch in Settings). You add each client as its own brand inside your account - with its own campaigns, creators, and reporting - and switch between them in one click. Every client brand draws from your account's single shared wallet, so you fund once and spend per client. Per-use campaign fees work exactly as they do for brands.

Question 14

What is the Cold Start module best for?

Accepted Answer

Cold Start builds early sales momentum wherever you sell: TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, or your own website. Real shoppers buy your product on your listing, which builds sales history on any platform, moves you toward GMV and outreach tiers on TikTok Shop, and adds purchase social proof on Amazon and Walmart. Some of those shoppers go on to leave an honest review on their own, which we never require, pay for or influence. It is ideal when you are launching a new product and need traction quickly.

Question 15

Where can I use UGC Library videos?

Accepted Answer

Anywhere your licence covers, not just TikTok. When you license UGC through Sparq, you receive the raw video files under a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence that runs 12 months. Within that licence you can use the videos on Amazon and Walmart product pages, your own website, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram ads, and email campaigns. The creator keeps ownership of the original and may continue showing it on their own channels.

Question 16

Can I run multiple campaigns at the same time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can run as many simultaneous campaigns as you want across all four modules. Each campaign has its own budget, timeline, and creator pool. Your dashboard gives you an overview of all active campaigns in one place.

Question 17

How do I track campaign performance?

Accepted Answer

Each campaign has a detail page showing real-time metrics: creator progress, content submissions, approval status, spend, and remaining budget. For live sessions, you can also track viewers, GMV, and orders. Your brand dashboard includes an overview of all campaigns at a glance.

Question 18

How do I sign up as a creator?

Accepted Answer

Click 'Get Started' and sign in with Google. Shoppers can start opting in to Cold Start purchase campaigns right away. Content creators also add their niches, social profiles, and portfolio samples. Connect your Stripe account for payouts, and you can browse and join available campaigns immediately.

Question 19

Do I need a TikTok account to join?

Accepted Answer

No. You only need an account on the platform where a campaign's purchase happens: a TikTok account for TikTok Shop campaigns, an Amazon Prime account for Amazon, a Walmart.com account for Walmart, and nothing extra when the product sells on the brand's own website. Every campaign shows its platform before you opt in. Your TikTok handle is optional at signup and only needed for TikTok work, including Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping.

Question 20

How and when do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Payouts release on a daily run through Stripe Connect (no minimum, even a few cents) and land in your bank within a few business days. For Cold Start, your reimbursement is released once your purchase proof is verified (newer creators also upload a quick photo of the delivered product). For Paid Partnerships and UGC, payment is released after the brand approves your content. For Live Shopping, payment follows the session contract terms. You can track all earnings in your dashboard.

Question 21

Do I need a minimum follower count?

Accepted Answer

No minimum follower count is required to join Sparq. We believe great content can come from creators of any size. That said, some brand campaigns may set their own follower requirements. Micro and nano creators often perform exceptionally well on Cold Start and UGC campaigns where authenticity matters more than reach.

Question 22

Can I work with multiple brands at the same time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can participate in multiple campaigns simultaneously across different brands and modules. Just make sure you can deliver quality content within the deadlines for each campaign. Your dashboard shows all active campaigns so you can manage your workload effectively.

Question 23

What happens if my Cold Start submission is rejected?

Accepted Answer

Purchase proofs are accepted on submission by default, so most never need a second look. If a proof is later rejected, you'll receive specific feedback on what didn't meet the requirements, such as an unclear screenshot or the wrong product listing, and you can resubmit within the campaign window. An amount that looks wrong is held for a person to check rather than rejected. Repeated rejections may affect your creator standing.

Question 24

How do I get purchase proof verified for Cold Start?

Accepted Answer

After purchasing the brand's product, take a clear screenshot of your order confirmation (from TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, or the brand's site, wherever the campaign runs) showing the order number, product name, and purchase date. Upload this in the campaign submission flow. Our system cross-references the details with the campaign requirements. Make sure the screenshot is unedited and all text is legible.

Question 25

What equipment do I need to create content?

Accepted Answer

Most successful creators use just their smartphone. Good lighting (natural light or a ring light) and clear audio make the biggest difference. For UGC and Paid Partnerships campaigns, brands may specify requirements in the content brief. You don't need professional gear to get started.

Question 26

Can I negotiate rates with brands?

Accepted Answer

On Cold Start you are not paid a rate: you are reimbursed for what you spent, which is the product price plus the brand's declared shipping plus covered sales tax up to a 12% buffer. Some Cold Start campaigns add an optional cash bonus on top, which the brand sets and which is shown on the campaign before you opt in. For Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping, the brand sets the rate per deliverable or session when creating the campaign, and you see it before applying.

Question 27

Is Sparq free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every brand can run all four campaign types - Cold Start, UGC Library, Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping - with creators you bring yourself or sourced from the Sparq marketplace. There is no monthly cost at all; you pay per-use fees when campaigns run, such as the per reimbursed purchase fee on Cold Start, plus a 10% service fee on every campaign type. Creators and shoppers always use Sparq for free.

Question 28

How much does each campaign type cost?

Accepted Answer

Cold Start is $15 per reimbursed purchase and UGC Library is $15 per approved piece. Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping carry no per-creator platform fee. Those rates are the same for every brand - there is no plan that changes them. A 10% service fee applies to every campaign budget, on all four campaign types.

Question 29

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

Brands fund their Sparq wallet via Stripe and pay per campaign action (per reimbursed purchase, per video, per session, etc.). Creators are paid on a daily payout run through Stripe Connect, with no minimum. A 10% service fee applies to every campaign budget, on all four campaign types.

Question 30

Is there a paid plan?

Accepted Answer

Not right now. There is one plan, everybody is on it, and it costs nothing per month. Every campaign type and the creator marketplace are included, and the per-unit rates are the same for everyone. We ran a $499/month Pro plan that bought a lower per-unit rate and marketplace access; both are now standard, so we stopped selling it rather than charge for something you already have. We will offer a paid plan again when we have built something worth charging for.

Question 31

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay the per-unit fee for each campaign action plus a 10% service fee on the total. Paid Partnerships and Live Shopping have no per-unit fee, so the service fee is all you pay Sparq there. That's it. There are no setup fees, cancellation fees, or minimum spend requirements. Your wallet balance never expires.

Question 32

Do unused wallet funds expire?

Accepted Answer

No. Funds in your Sparq wallet never expire and carry over indefinitely. You can use them at any time for any campaign type. If you ever need a refund for unused funds, contact our support team.

Question 33

How does Sparq verify purchases?

Accepted Answer

For Cold Start campaigns, our verification system checks that each purchase is legitimate on whichever platform the campaign runs, including valid purchase proof, the correct product listing, and order delivery status. Creators submit order confirmation screenshots that are cross-referenced with campaign requirements. Brands can also manually approve or request revisions for Paid Partnerships and UGC content.

Question 34

How does Sparq prevent fake purchases?

Accepted Answer

Every Cold Start purchase goes through our verification process that checks for genuine purchase proof, correct product and listing, and order delivery status. Creators must provide order confirmation screenshots and the system cross-references order details. Fabricated or manipulated purchase proofs result in infractions that can lead to account suspension.

Question 35

What happens if a creator doesn't deliver?

Accepted Answer

You are not charged for work that never arrives. Campaign money sits in your wallet and is only released as each creator delivers: on UGC Library and Paid Partnerships when you approve the video, on Live Shopping after the session runs, and on Cold Start when a purchase is verified and delivery is confirmed. If a creator misses the deadline or never submits, nothing is paid to them, and whatever your campaign did not use returns to your wallet when the campaign finishes or you cancel it. That applies to every module. Wallet funds never expire, so they are ready for the next campaign. The service fee charged when you launched is the one amount that is not returned. Creators who repeatedly miss deadlines pick up infractions that affect their standing and can lead to removal from the platform.

Question 36

Am I guaranteed to get the videos I pay for?

Accepted Answer

You are guaranteed not to pay for a video you did not get. Like any marketplace, we cannot promise that a particular creator will deliver on time or that a campaign will hit a particular sales result, and our terms say so. What we can promise is how the money works: your budget is held in escrow and moves to a creator only after you approve their video. If a creator drops out or misses the deadline, their share comes back to your wallet and you can accept someone else in their place. On UGC Library you also choose which creators are accepted before any of them start, so the roster is yours, and you review every video before it is paid for. In practice a campaign ends either with videos you approved or with the money still in your wallet.

Question 37

How does Cold Start handle reviews on Amazon and Walmart?

Accepted Answer

A Cold Start reimbursement pays a shopper back for a real purchase, and it never depends on a review. On Amazon, Walmart, and brand websites we never ask shoppers for a review, never offer anything in exchange for one, and never make a review part of a campaign task. If a shopper chooses to leave one, it is their own honest opinion, posted from their own account.

Question 38

Is my payment information secure?

Accepted Answer

All payments are processed through Stripe, which is PCI Level 1 certified (the highest level of payment security). Sparq never stores your credit card details. Creator payouts go through Stripe Connect, which handles all sensitive financial data with bank-grade encryption.

Question 39

Who owns the content creators produce?

Accepted Answer

For Cold Start, reviews are always optional and are the shopper's own words. If they leave one, it lives on the product's listing on the campaign's platform (TikTok Shop, Amazon, or Walmart) or on the brand's site or Trustpilot, and it remains theirs. For UGC Library, the creator retains ownership of the original and grants the brand a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide commercial licence to the raw files, 12 months by default. For Paid Partnerships, ownership and usage rights are defined in the campaign terms, which both parties agree to before work begins.
